Dan’s passion for photography began when he was just eight years old, and he’s been honing his craft ever since. With a background in nature photography, he has a deep appreciation for the beautiful outdoor settings Houston has to offer—making every portrait session just as rewarding and creatively fulfilling as photographing major events.

In 2005, Dan proudly took over Natural Expressions Photography from his mother, Barbara, who founded the studio in 1986. He continues to carry on the family legacy with a dedication to capturing authentic, timeless moments and creating a comfortable, personalized experience for every client. Whether he's photographing a milestone celebration, a senior stepping into a new chapter, or a family simply enjoying time together, Dan brings both heart and artistry to every image.

Christine, a New Orleans native, relocated to Houston after Hurricane Katrina and has been part of the Natural Expressions family since 2008. She met Dan when he came in to photograph an engaged couple at the Tasting Room where she was working—it was a chance encounter that turned into a lasting creative partnership.

Christine earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of New Orleans in 2003 and brings both technical skill and creative vision to her work. Specializing in maternity and newborn photography, she is known for her warm, artistic approach and her ability to capture the quiet beauty and heartfelt emotion of life’s earliest moments. Christine creates a calm and nurturing environment that helps families feel at ease, resulting in timeless, meaningful portraits that will be cherished for generations.
